SEO Blogs

SEO blogs seem to have taken over from forums and newsletters, not a great fan of them myself but I've included some from well known sources and others from individual SEOs I've known of for years.

Strong language is not uncommon in some, and most view the SEO sector through their own particular perspective.

  • Search Engine Watch - used to be a must-read, not so much these days.
  • Matt Cutts - the unofficial voice of Google.
  • Search Engine Land - Danny Sullivans' new vehicle, has a daily search "events" roundup.
  • NSN Live Search - just for curiosity value really.
  • SE Roundtable - this would probably be the SEO "blog of record", particularly good at covering the various SEO conferences and SEO forums.
  • Eric Ward - one of the top linkage experts.
  • Martini Buster - a lot of linking stuff, MB is one of the linkage forum Mods over at WmW.

Here's a few of the more active Irish SEO blogs.

SEO blogs give you the chance to read points of view that may not get an airing on the forums and can be both instructive and entertaining, on the other hand unless familiar with the bloggers' "history" most should be taken with a large pinch of salt.
